Los Angeles Lawyer for DUI A charge of  driving under the influence (DUI) is a serious matter.

The field of DUI defense is full of complexity.  This complexity requires that the attorney defending a DUI charge have specialized training.  The American Bar Association has recognized the complexity of DUI defense practice and has identified this field as an area specialization.

To properly evaluate and defend a DUI case, the attorney must receive the same training in field sobriety testing and breath test instruments as the officers in the field receive.  A through understanding of the anatomy of a DUI investigation is essential.

Knowledge of Department of Motor Vehicles procedures is necessary for DUI defense.
